On Apr 17th,  CIYC member Jim Austin will present his experience cruising to Newfoundland in 2023 and his preparations for heavy weather sailing.  Jim will cover preparations for an extended cruise including supplies, spares, boat equipment, multi-day offshore passage strategies, weather routing and navigational redundancies.  He will also have some of his heavy weather gear available for viewing before and after the seminar. 

The CIYC pub will be open for drinks before the seminar.  In addition, food for delivery can be ordered from the City Island Pizza Company at a discounted price.
