CIYC is kicking off the Wednesday night Seminar Series with a free event focused on boating safety.

Introduction to Basic Boating Safety is designed as a seminar for the novice boater to provide the most important safety needed. It focuses on safety equipment and best practices and encourages additional boater safety classes, a certificate course, and vessel safety checks.

Topics include: situational awareness, boater education, aids to navigation, navigation rules, fueling, and anchoring.
