President Biden today announced a Federal plan to vaccinate everyone in the country by the end of July, 2021. This bodes well for America to return to normal this summer.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
Due to your exceptional cooperation, we were able to keep each other safe by wearing masks, observing social distancing, and our enhanced COVID cleaning protocols.
I am proud to tell you that, to date, not one case of COVID-19 has been traced to City Island Yacht Club. But we need to continue wearing our masks to protect each other, so as your Commodore, I ask you to continue to observe masking and distancing protocols. Now is the time for exceptional vigilance to preserve our record of health and safety. Please continue to sign in when you visit the site.
INDOOR DINING
NYC restaurants may now open for indoor dining at 25% capacity. As you know, the club is closed during February for work parties and repairs, but we will be ready to serve you in our restaurant and bar this spring.
CIYC has installed enhanced Ultra-HEPA-13 filters in all of the first floor rooms of the club to increase our safety as we open for indoor dining. Our plan is to cover the second floor and bathrooms as we expand operations.
INDOOR PARTIES
As of March 15, 2021, Governor Cuomo has instituted a new ruling for indoor parties. We can go to 50% occupancy so long as everyone attending has had a COVID-19 test within 3 days before the event. This is a very encouraging sign for the 2021 Season as we will be able to expand our offerings both inside and outside.
WORK PARTIES
This weekend, February 27, and 28, we will begin to prepare for the upcoming season with Work Parties, painting and repairing our beloved club. Please sign up for two days of work from 10am-3pm on one of these days. We will have additional days for Work Parties as the weather warms up, so look for more opportunities to help make our club beautiful for all of us.
