| Directions to City Island Yacht Club |

By Land...
From Northern New York, Westchester, and Connecticut:
I-95 South to Exit 8B (City Island, Orchard Beach.) Follow for 3/4 mile over drawbridge and then immediately bear right. Go
another 3/4 mile to traffic circle. Go half-way around the circle (as if you were going straight) and the green City Island
Bridge is 1/4 mile further down. Once over the bridge, continue on City Island Avenue for one mile. Turn right onto Pilot
Street (Landmark: Lido Parking Sign.) City Island Yacht Club is at the end of Pilot Street on the right.
From Manhattan:
Triborough Bridge to the Bruckner Expressway (Bronx.) Follow on the Bruckner until it merges with I-95 North. I-95 to Exit 8B
(City Island, Orchard Beach.) Follow for 3/4 mile over drawbridge and then immediately bear right. Go another 3/4 mile to
traffic circle. Go half-way around the circle (as if you were going straight) and the green City Island Bridge is 1/4 mile
further down. Once over the bridge, continue on City Island Avenue for one mile. Turn right onto Pilot Street (Landmark: Lido
Parking Sign.) City Island Yacht Club is at the end of Pilot Street on the right.
From New Jersey:
George Washington Bridge to I-95 North (Cross Bronx Expressway.) I-95 to Exit 8B (City Island, Orchard Beach.) Follow for 3/4
mile over drawbridge and then immediately bear right. Go another 3/4 mile to traffic circle. Go half-way around the circle (as
if you were going straight) and the green City Island Bridge is 1/4 mile further down. Once over the bridge, continue on City

From Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island:
Take the Throgs Neck (or Whitestone) Bridge and follow signs for I-95 North. Take I-95 North to Exit 8B (City Island, Orchard
Beach.) Follow for 3/4 mile over drawbridge and then immediately bear right. Go another 3/4 mile to traffic circle. Go half-way
around the circle (as if you were going straight) and the green City Island Bridge is 1/4 mile further down. Once over the
bridge, continue on City Island Avenue for one mile. Turn right onto Pilot Street (Landmark: Lido Parking Sign.) City Island
Yacht Club is at the end of Pilot Street on the right.

By Sea...
City Island is not only easy to approach by boat, unlike other yacht clubs and marinas on Long Island Sound, many great seafood
restaurants, antique shops, museums, grocery stores, laundromats, delis and a pharmacy are all just a few blocks away.
From the West:
Once you go under the Throgs Neck Bridge, you'll see City Island off to Port. Once you clear R"48", head almost due North,
being sure to keep R"2" and N"2A" (Big Tom) to Starboard. Contact the CIYC Launch on VHF 72 on the outside of our mooring area
and they will guide you to a guest mooring.
From the East:
After Execution Light, continue almost due West (keeping Hart Island to Starboard) for a little over 3 nautical miles. Turn
North rounding R"2" at Big Tom and continue to round N"4". Contact the CIYC Launch on VHF 72 on the outside of our mooring area
and they will guide you to a guest mooring.
